Q :- Tell me about yourself?
A :-This is the most frequently asked question with which you generally expect your interview to start. Prepare a concise statement about this in your mind, but as you answer it must sound spontaneous and not pre-prepared and rehearsed. Start the answer with the items farthest back and steadily move on to the present, talking mainly about the items related to the job for which you are being interviewed, unless instructed otherwise

Q :- Why did you leave your last job?
A :-As for this answer, saying negative about the management of the previous company has to be strictly abhorred. Do not mention anything ill about the supervisors and co-workers of your previous organization. Whatever be the circumstance, be positive and just answer that you left your last job for a better opportunity, a chance to do something special and other positive aspects that you can think of.

Q :- What experience do you have in this field?
A :-- Tell them about the experience that you have acquired related to the position you are applying for.

Q :- What do you know about this organization?
A :- To answer this question you have to do some research about the organization before appearing in the interview. Tell them about the current issues in the organization and also about the past record and future aspiration of the organization.

Q :- Are you applying for other jobs?
A :- You need to be honest in this area but do not spend much time on this and keep your emphasis on the job for which you are being interviewed and what you can do for the betterment of the business of this organization.

Q :- Why do you want to work for this organization?
A :- The answer to this question has to be given based on the research that you have done about the organization. Your sincerity is tested through this question. You must relate this with your long term career goals.

Q :- What is the salary expectation?
A :- This is quite a trick question. Try not to answer it on the first place. Entice the interviewer to take an off guard stance and get it from him. After this you can start negotiating. If this does not happen, tell him that the salary expectation about the job details. Depending on it place a wide range of salary expectation.

Q :- Are you a team player?
A :- This answer has to be strongly positive. State some incident from your previous job which strongly highlights you as a team man. But do not brag over this point. It has to be stated in a matter-of-fact tone.

Q :- How long would you expect to work for us if hired?
A :- Do not give any specific time range. You may answer like this: As long as we both feel I'm doing a good job.

Q :- What is your philosophy towards work?
A :- Give a compact positive answer for this question which highlights that you intend to get the task that has been assigned to you done, in a good way will no ill feeing on anyone’s part.

Q :- Why should we hire you?
A :- To answer this question, do not make any comparison with other candidates. Just point out how your qualification and professional experience in this field meet the needs of the organization.

Q :- What is your greatest strength?
A :- Stay positive. Cite a few examples on your capability to prioritize, solving problem efficiency, proper working capability under high work pressure, professional expertise, etc.

Q :- Tell me about your dream job?
A :- Don’t answer it straightaway. What ever you answer you cannot win. Answer it diplomatically, that your dream job is where you can attain job satisfaction, like the colleagues and can’t wait to get to work. Stay away from a specific job.

Q :- Tell me about a problem you had with a supervisor?
A :- This is a question where you need to be aware of the trap that has been laid in front of you. You may be very much tempted to thrash your former boss if you had any bitter confrontation with him. But restrain your temptation. To overcome this, stay positive and develop a very poor memory about any problem with your boss

Q :- Tell me about your ability to work under pressure.
A :- The best way to give a convincing answer about this question is to cite some examples from you previous organization which strongly portrays your capability to work under pressure.

Q :- Are you willing to work overtime? Nights? Weekends?
A :- Be honest and answer it straight. If you are not willing to work in night shifts or at weekends give a proper and strong reason to support it.

Q :- Would you be willing to relocate if required?
A :- Many people answer yes to this question only to get the job while originally they are not willing to do so. This creates a serious problem as later on in your career. Be honest to save yourself from future grief. You must discuss it with your family and get your stance clear prior to the interview should this question may arise.

Q :- Are you willing to put the interests of the organization ahead of your own?
A :- This question has to have a straight edge answer. Just say yes to prove your loyalty and dedication. Don’t get too ethical and philosophical about the answer you give just say yes.

Q :- Describe your management style?
A :- Do not stick to any strict technique. Management is a technique where you need to evolve and cope up with the situation that may rise. Project yourself as a very flexible manager who would get the job done successfully whatever be the situation.

Q :- What have you learned from mistakes on the job?
A :- Give a small and well intentional mistake and with it provide a positive lesson learned from it. But be sure that you do not cite mistakes that portray your un-mindful attitude or callousness.

Q :- Do you have any blind spots?
A :- This is a trick question, because if you knew about your blind spots they would no longer remain blind. Do not answer this. Let them make it out, do not hand it to them.

Q :- Do you think you are overqualified for this position?
A :- Whatever be your qualifications do emphasize that you are perfectly qualified for this job.

Q :- How do you propose to compensate for your lack of experience?
A :- If it’s true that you do not have the required experience, point out that you are hardworking and quick learner and also vey eager to learn.

Q :- What position do you prefer on a team working on a project?
A :- Honestly point out the role you prefer to play in a project that requires teamwork.

Q :- Describe your work ethics?A :- Emphasize benefits to the organization. Things like, determination to get the job done and work hard but enjoy your work are good.
