Talent Crisis across the globe

A survey conducted in March by the Universum(A global leader in Employer Branding.) has revealed some of the most interesting facts. The survey which was carried out on MNC's was basically to study talent retention, engagement and attraction. The data which was acquired by studying strategies and results of around 630 employers in major places like Europe, USA and Asia. Most of those who responded to the surveying enquiries came from backgrounds such as HR, employer branding and even the recruitment sections of respective concerns. After surveying 630 concerns it became clear that employers across the globe are confronting talent crisis.

At present talent hunt has become tougher because of scarcity of key talents. The crevices left behind have resulted out of business failures which have increased in the recent past. Talent attraction has been facing a downturn because around 80% of the employers have failed to catch the attention of prospective candidates. Recent workforces are facing major issues due to lack of skilled talents. Brain drain is one of the core issues leading to this problem. However employers have undertaken techniques to invest on skilled employment. Today many of them feel that perfect brand awareness and goodwill can lead to attracting a pool of highly skilled employees. These have to be dealt with sheer care and considering both issues in respective proportions.
